Our Football Comanches finished the regular season ranked #11 in the Associated Press IHSA Class 5A Poll.  Way to go!


Cahokia Football has 'Senior Night' TONIGHT – Tonight our Football Comanches (4-4) host Top 10 state-ranked Crete-Monee H.S. (6-2).  Scenario: If we win tomorrow, we’ll be in the IHSA football playoffs for the first time since 2009.


Our Senior Comanche QB Wayne Grant, Jr. is having a spectacular season, hence he's tied for No. 2 in the St. Louis Metro Area with 22 passing TD’s


Freshman Game: 5:00pm

Varsity Game: 7:30pm

Cahokia Football travels to Mt. Vernon tonight - Tonight, our Football Comanches (3-3) travel to conference opponent, Mt. Vernon HS (0-6). During last week’s Homecoming Game, our Comanches gave a valiant effort, as we were defeated by Top 10 state-ranked Centralia, 48-32.  


Last Friday was a classic battle of two of the best dual threat QB’s in the area. Our Comanche QB Wayne Grant, Jr. produced 362 all-purpose yards including 18-30 passing for 221 yards with two TD’s. He also ran the ball 10 times for 141 yards and 2 more TD’s. Centralia’s QB Javon Williams, Jr. amassed 390 yards of total offense. He rushed for 225 yards and 4 TD’s. He was also 9-14 through the air for another 165 yards and 2 more TD’s. 





FOX 2 NEWS - PEP ZONE for Homecoming Week! –  Last Friday morning, Cahokia High School was featured on the Fox 2 News Pep Zone morning broadcast!


We had several live high-energy segments! Check out our Pep Zone clips from last week.


The kids were ready and in place by 6:00am...they truly made the school; the district; and the community very proud!

FOX 2 NEWS - PEP ZONE for Homecoming Week! –  Cahokia High School will be featured on the Fox 2 News Pep Zone morning broadcast next Friday Sept 30, 2016 during our Homecoming Week!  


There would be two live segments at 6:50am and 7:25am and one taped segment to air during the 8am hour. Check out some of the previous Pep Zone broadcasts from other area high schools.

Cahokia Victory at the Gateway Scholars Football Classic! 

Over the Labor Day Weekend, our Football Comanches convincingly defeated St. Louis Sumner H.S., 59-7 at the Gateway Scholars Football Classic (PICS ATTACHED).  We are 2-0 for the first time since 2009.

Football Season/Home Opener Win – In what has been considered one of the best home football games ever played at our Lenz Field, the Football Comanches were victorious over the Highland Bulldogs this past Friday. The score was a nail-biting, 25-24.  Congrats to John Clay and his coaching staff on their first win of the season!
