Welcome

08/18/19

Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year.

I am the Adapted Physical Education Teacher for Cahokia Unit School District.

I am so excited to be able to teach your scholar. In Adapted Physical Education your scholars will actively participate in  movement and motor skills in order to understand concepts necessary to engage in moderate to vigorous physical activity. Scholars will achieve and maintain a health-enhancing level of physical fitness based upon continual self-assessment. Scholars will develop skills necessary to become a successful member of a team by working with others during physical activity. Scholars will understand basic principles of health promotion and the prevention and treatment of disease and injury. Scholars will understand human body systems and factors that influence growth and development. Scholars will promote and enhance health and well-being through the use of effective communication and decision-making skills.

My plan time is:

Regular school day

     7:45 - 8:00 AM (E Morris School)

     11:10 - 11:40 AM (Oliver Parks)

Late start Wednesday

      10:25 - 11:00 (Maplewood)

Early Dismissal

     10:00 - 10:30 (Oliver Parks)

Please feel free to contact me either by calling the appropriate school or emailing me at etherton@cusd187.org

Thank you for taking an active interest in your scholars education.
