WELCOME CLASS OF 2019

Welcome to CHS! I will be the Class of 2019 guidance counselor. The next 4 years we will be working together to achieve big dreams. I hope to help the students and the parents find support with grades, study skills, college and career planning.  I look forward to watching the students grow, mature, graduate and go off to live their dreams after high school. I have been with Cahokia since 2012. Prior to that I was a social worker in the East St. Louis area. I have been working with children and families the majority of my adult life. Helping children grow into wonderful adults is my calling.

To the Parents:

I would love to meet and work with everyone of my students parents. I am believer that it takes a village to raise a child. From 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.you trust CHS and it's staff to care for your student. I take this very seriously. I will be with the class of 2019 for their entire stay here at Cahokia. They become my babies too. I hope we can work together to ensure the success of you child. Please do not hesitate to call me. For the next 4 years we will be a team working together towards your students graduation. My direct line is 618-332-4525 and my email is rileyk@cusd187.org

To the Students:

I will always be here for for you. If you need help ask. I will expect a lot from you. You are and will be successful. For the next four years, I will be watching over you, guiding you and encouraging you.
